Members of our Board are appointed by the Cabinet on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance.
Our Board's General Responsibilities
The NRBT Act grants our Board overarching duties regarding strategic direction, functions, and operations, along with the primary responsibility for ensuring the achievement of our objectives.
The Board shall be responsible for its policy and affairs and may issue directives for the purpose of giving effect to the provisions of this Act.
The Board —
(a) shall keep under constant review the performance of the Bank in the conduct of its functions and its use of resources; and (b) may give advice to the Governor on any matter relating to the Bank’s functions and the exercise of its powers.Our Directors
