Illustrated on the back of this banknote is a Tongan rugby player representing sports. Depicted next to it are primary school students, representing education. Sports and Education are two aspects that Tongans have excelled in the past and are striving to continue to be at the top, improving their ways of lives.

These burial tombs are believed to have been constructed in the 13th and 16th centuries, and are considered one of the most important historical and cultural landmarks in Tonga.
