The National Reserve Bank (Reserve Bank) would like to inform the general public that the Reserve Bank Board of Directors approved the revised Bank Licence Application Forms (Forms 1 - 4) to be effective on the 1st August, 2019. Prudential Statement 12 is also revised to reflect the changes to the License Application Forms and to better explain how these forms are to be filled up.

The changes to the Bank Licence Application Forms and Prudential Statement 12 are mainly to enhance the information required for the reviewing process of bank license applications. This is in line with current international best practices for banking supervision.
