Chief Manager – Information Technology

This is a senior leadership role within the Information Technology Department. The position plays an important part in supporting the Bank in carrying out the IT Department’s functions. The role involves developing and implementing the NRBT’s IT strategy, and leading the development, maintenance and improvement of IT systems to support the Bank’s operations. It also ensures strong information security and effective management of IT and cybersecurity risks in line with the Bank’s risk framework. In addition, the role promotes alignment with international standards and best practices by embedding them into IT processes, procedures and projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of the Bank’s IT strategy, policies and frameworks in line with international standards and organizational objectives.
• Ensure reliable, secure and efficient IT operations and service delivery to support business continuity.
• Oversee information security and manage IT and cybersecurity risks in compliance with relevant standards and requirements.
• Lead IT projects, systems development and digital initiatives to enhance performance and meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain IT business continuity, disaster recovery and cyber incident response plans to ensure operational resilience.

To be eligible for this position, the applicant must meet the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree with more than 5 years of work experience in information technology, computer science or closely related fields. A Master’s degree in a related field from a recognized institution with 2 years relevant working experience will be an advantage;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Experience in IT project management and systems development;
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems architecture, digital solutions and relevant regulatory requirements;
• Excellent networking skills with written and oral communication skills in English, including report writing and high level of computer literacy.
